Born in Milan, he graduated with honors from Conservatorio G. Verdi di Milano with highest grades in piano. As the youngest Italian talent of his time, he was immediately offered two scholarships with Arthur Rubenstein and continued his studies with Marta Argerich, Jean Micault and attended specialized courses with Daniel Bairemboim. “Stresa” “Capri” “Trapani” etc.

He won several important international competitions notably “Ferruccio Busoni” “Junge Virtuosen of Münic” “Stresa” “Capri” “Trapani” etc.

From this moment began his extraordinary career. Simultaneously he started his studies in composition under the guidance of Maestro Molfino and direction of orchestra with Maestro Sir Charles Mackerras, at the Royal Academy of London, and Maestro Howlorski at the Conservatory of Warsaw. He continued working as a soloist and director with the most prestigious European orchestras (Opera de Paris, Bayerische Rundfunk, National Orchestra of Spain, Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart, Staatkapelle of Dresden, Wiener Kammer Orkest) etc.

He headlined tours in Argentina, Brazil, Japan, South Africa, Spain, France and Germany and collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Pierre Amoyale, Victor Tretiakov, I Solisti della Scala,and i Solisti Veneti. Today he is considered, by both critics and public, to be one of the foremost pianists and directors of his generation. As a composer, he has followed the development and execution of 26 orchestral and soloist works, attracting international attention Concerto for viola and bow orchestras “Winds Talkers”. Since 2000 he won international acclaim as the Artistic and Musical Director of UECO ( United Europe Chamber Orchestra) and has performed over 1000 concerts in Italy and abroad, including 10 seasons at the Sala Verdi in the onservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi. From 2003 UECO’s success has resulted in the stablishment of two permanent seasons in the European cultural capitals of Vienna (Konzerthaus) and Berlin (KMS Philharmonik). In the following years numerous prestigious tours in Europe, the United States and Japan culminated in the invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2008. Due to his success and critical acclaim from September 2009 he was appointed Resident Conductor to Canegie Hall in New York. In 2009 was promoter of extraordinary collaborations with Maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy and from 2010 has held the position of artistic director and director of the Symphonic Orchestra of Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH).
